The practice operates as a cultural space for multidisciplinary participation where architectural projects are developed by integrating architecture, nature, art and cultural heritage. Our architectural production spans different programmes, from large landscape proposals to interior design in shops or homes. We work on international projects, privately commissioned work and participate in various competitions. Our capacity to blend contemporary architecture with its surroundings, our consideration of regulatory limitations as a starting point for the development of fair, respectful projects and an ability to establish strong values for investment, have given us a defined identity. We represent a benchmark in sustainable architecture, in urban development and in circular economic strategies.

ITALIAN PAVILION
We are exhibiting at the Italian Pavilion of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2025, presenting the project “Laura Mare Waterfront | Sustainable Development of the Coastal Area of Paestum”, which focuses on rethinking the ruptures along the coastline.
Through works, drawings, and models, we illustrate the first step in a tangible process: the implementation of the integrated strategies outlined in the masterplan for the urban and landscape regeneration of the Paestum coastal area.
This is an invitation to imagine a new balance between environment, landscape, and human settlement and to act so that this balance may become reality.
Our sincere thanks to curator Guendalina Salimei and to the exhibition project promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture, for this valuable opportunity for sharing and dialogue.
“ RIQUALIFICAZIONE E RIMODULAZIONE DEL MURO DI CINTA DEL PARCO DI MONTE CLARO – CAGLIARI “AL DI LA’ DEL MURO: UNA SCOMMESSA DI NUOVA PERCEZIONE URBANA”
LUCA CERULLO ARCHITECTS wins first prize in the design competition, reorganising the relationship between the park and the city of Cagliari.
The proposal considers the importance of the enclosing wall as a historical memory that facilitates park management, introducing along its perimeter a porous and environmentally friendly element represented by a green belt that integrates parts of the existing wall, new sustainable recreational paths, and supporting facilities for practicable activities. The intervention mitigates described physical limit, reduces the heat island effect and improves the microclimate in accordance with the principle of “Do Not Significant Harm” (DNSH), through the expansion of permeable surfaces and the reuse of 70% of materials from non-hazardous waste generated by the intervention.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTURE
LAURA MARE | SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COASTAL STRIP OF PAESTUM has received the award of the National Institute of Architecture as the best new building in Campania 2023. ‘An intervention that skilfully integrates into the natural context of the Cilento coast, delimiting completely transparent open spaces that can be crossed between the new promenade and the sea. A structure of light materials and compositional articulation that sits softly on the site, where the horizontal dimension prevails and, with clear sliding movements between the three main volumes, transforms the traditional idea of the seaside resort into a soft architecture. Rope, wood, steel and glass come together in a perfect synthesis that proposes an unprecedented relationship between land and sea’.
The sustainability of interventions in the area to conserve our habitat has become not just a legal obligation but, happily, also a widespread tendency: the number of business activities which renovate themselves in a sustainable way is constantly increasing. This project starts with the complete demolition of the present bathing establishment, known as Lido Laura, since it was build using traditional materials, which now are not compatible with the protected area around it. The new facilities will reduce to a minimum the impact on the environment, with NATURA 2000 present on the site, and provide all the needed features of a bathing establishment with the aim of using the site in a sustainable way. It will try to recover, protect and expand the habitat and favour a more sensitive anthropization of the natural areas.
